The schedule for the Test series against Sri Lanka has been announced.


Lahore 2023: The schedule for the Pakistan cricket team's tour of Sri Lanka has been announced. The series will consist of two Test matches played in Galle and Colombo.

The first Test will be played at Galle International Stadium from 16th to 20th July. This is the same stadium where the Pakistani team won the Test match last year by crossing the target of 342 runs with four wickets in hand. It is the highest successful run chase in Test matches at this grand venue.



Colombo's Sinhalese Sports Club will host the second Test match from 24th to 28th July. The Pakistani team last played a Test match at the Sinhalese Sports Club in 2014. Pakistan has played six Test matches at this venue, winning one, losing one, anld drawing four. The Pakistani cricket team will arrive in Colombo on 9th July. Prior to the Test series, Pakistan will also play a two-day warm-up match on 11th and 12th July.


Last year in July, the Pakistani team toured Sri Lanka, where the Test series ended in a draw with both matches played in Galle. Pakistan won the first Test by four wickets, while Sri Lanka achieved success in the second Test by 246 runs, leveling the series.
